if you are anything like me, you are usually running to the gas station to grab a card on your way to the party and you end up spending twice what you should on a piece of paper they are just going to glance at.  so when the lovely Lauren contacted me from Cardstore I was so intrigued!  I love the idea of picture books or videos to celebrate any occasion so when she said I could make customizable holiday cards with whatever pictures I wanted and my own message I was sold!

basically you go to Cardstore, search for a type of card you want and add anything you'd like.  I'm not going to show you the exact one I made because a certain someone who reads this blog might receive it!

fyi. 30% off and free shipping!

once you pick it you can start making it perfect!

it's really easy to add your pictures, choose the colour and size and place them.  the option to add pictures from facebook is definitely a benefit!

once you have the pictures selected you can move to the inside and customize the message.

they have a bunch of different colour and font options to tweak it to perfection.
another super cool feature?  if you make your card on an ipad there is a free app you can download to write your signature instead of just typing!

preview your card, make sure everything is perfect and select your shipping option.  for you lucky americans you can pick the date you want it delivered!
spend five minutes making a personalized card when you have the time, pick the delivery date and you don't have to worry again!

do you see that price tag right there?  yup, you can't get a nice card anywheres for $3.49.  let alone a personalized one.

I did some more browsing, this card says "if it's any consolation, I'll change your diapers someday, too".  killed me.

they also have this mommism meme generator thing on the go, definitely worth checking out.

I highly recommend this site.  so easy to use and tons of options.  I'll be letting you know what I think of my cards when I get them later this week!

I was given a coupon code for one free card in exchange for an honest review.  all opinions are mine!
